Task Manager is not showing up

Problem:

Task Manager is not showing up. If you manually run taskmgr.exe you will get the following error:

“The specified path does not exist check path and try again”

Solution:

  1. Open up the registry
  2. Navigate to: HKLM->Software->Microsoft->Windows NT->CurrentVersion->Image File Execution Options->taskmgr.exe
  3. Delete taskmgr.exe
