Vista Windows Update Error: “The page failed to load”

Problem: When you start Windows Update in Vista you’ll get a white blank page with an error message saying that “The page failed to load” (See Screenshot).
Solution:
- Open MyColors (A Stardock Product)
- On the left pane select “Windows Vista Aero” to temporarily disable MyColors Theme functionality.
- Do Windows Update again
VISTA System Restore Error: Cannot create a file that already exists (0x800700B7) (Fixed)

Symptom(s): When creating a restore point and/or enabling/disabling System Restore in Vista you were prompted with the following error message: “Cannot create a file that already exists (0x800700B7)”
Solution:
Delete the registry key “SR” under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\Microsoft\Windows\SystemRestore\
Note: Doing this will remove any previous restore point you have created.
