Problem: When you open services.msc you were prompted with the following error:
One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or
2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls. As a result, the page might not display correctly.

Blank Extended Panel (Services.msc)
If you press the “OK” button you will be presented by a blank Extended panel.
Solution: You need to delete one registry entry that can be found at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\

Blank Extended Panel (Services.msc)
delete the entry before zone number 0 (see screenshot). No need to reboot the machine.
